👋 First impressions
We were greeted as soon as we entered the pub by the very friendly team and shown straight to our table, which was already prepared for us. We were then informed that food and drinks needed to be ordered at the bar rather than through table service. While this wasn't a problem, table service would have made for a more relaxed experience. We ordered our drinks and food together and were able to settle in quickly afterwards. There were plenty of dogs in the pub during our visit, although it didn't feel particularly geared towards dog owners, with no treats or water bowls available. That said, once we were seated, both we and our dogs felt comfortable and settled for the duration of our meal.

Service & atmosphere
When we arrived, we were greeted by the team and shown to our table. We were informed that, once ready, we would need to order at the bar rather than receive table service. While this wasn't a major issue, paying before eating meant we couldn't easily keep a tab open if we decided to order desserts or additional drinks later. As we had two dogs with us, it also meant bringing them along whenever we needed to visit the bar.
The pub was clearly very popular and busy, which is always a positive sign. However, with only two people working behind the bar, there were times when it felt difficult to get their attention, as they were understandably focused on serving a large number of customers.
